Who killed El-Hajj??

Who really was behind the blast which killed General François El-Hajj ??

This terrorist act for sure will be included in the Lebanese Murder X-files , and it is one hell of a long archives of Blasts for sure . Who was behind it will be the ultimate question with no official answer ,just like the rest of the blasts and assassination in Lebanon.

Yet the death of the man who could have been the commander of the Lebanese army should not be closed immediately or to be forgotten easily because it did not only throw its dark shadow on the Lebanese Presidential election issue but it may throw to its dark shadow on even further like that.

If you want to know or think about the Ultimate Question on Whom killed El-Hajj , you start first like any good investigator to search in the man's history and to see if he got any enemies that want him to see him dead ,and of course in a country like Lebanon any political figure must haves enemies , you will tell me that he was a Christian officer in the Lebanese army , the neutral institute how can he have enemies ??

Again check back his history ;François El-Hajj with testimonies of all experts in Lebanon was an excellent military leader despite the very modest capabilities of the Lebanese army from training and arms , his name began to shine when he won a famous battle with his troops in 1970s during the civil war against the Lebanese forces whose leader in that particular battle was Dr.Samir Geagea , the infamous Prince of War and current of 14th of March leader .

I am not saying that Geagea may go after El-Hajj for some battle in the old war past , but his name was an interesting one in the history of El-Hajj

You must bear in mind that there are some news from time to time that reach out to the net from Lebanon saying that the Lebanese army busted some headquarters for the Lebanese forces with tons of arms , the Lebanese forces whose prince is Samir Geagea breaking the Ta'af disarm agreement secretly ,in fact publicly all people in Lebanon now very well they got arms hidden ready to be out when time comes.

Syria can't be a suspect in this case because El-Hajj had good relations with them and Syria provided logistic backup to the general in his Nahr El-Bard Campaign against Fatah El-Islam , the group which was originally made and fostered by some of the ex-princes of wars in order to kill Hassan Nasrallah ,the enemy of both Geagea and Israel

Hezbollah also can't be suspect because El-Hajj believes in them and the right of resistance just like Michel Soliman ,and already he worked with them during his work in South of Lebanon , yes El-Hajj used to work in South Lebanon and in 1996 Israel tried to assassinate him still he survived the attempt . When Israel tries to kill some military man  then you should now this man is dangerous on their military plans of war and destruction , they do not want any resistance what so ever

If you noticed during the Lebanon July war 2006 the Lebanese army began to stand against the attack and artillery stopped several  Israeli landing in different southern locations , then the Lebanese army began to take charge in  South of Lebanon with a harmony with the Hezbollah ,then it proved itself against the terrorists in Nahr El-Bard campaign , the army is not getting weaker but it is getting stronger .

If El-Hajj became the high commander of the Lebanese army , the army in case of any possible Israeli attack or invasion would answer back violently , already according the international laws the Lebanese army has all the right to defend its land .

Israel does not want a President who hates Israel and Supports the resistance , Israel does not want an army chief who hates Israel and Supports the resistance ,Israel does not want a Prime minister in Lebanon who respects all other parties and is respected by and here I am speaking about Bahia El-Hariri the  new candidate whom I began fear on her life .

Israel wants to revenge back from Hezbollah ,when it failed it let its allies in Lebanon to do the dirty job and tried to push the country again to the maze of the civil war , the old game ,thanks heavens their allies also have failed till now and so the military option is still already they need it in order to restore the IDF power myth in the region ,if  they think in any military revenge plan they must get rid from all the obstacles in their way this time very carefully , they won't want a man like El-Hajj on the head of the Lebanese army ,even if they plan to do 2009 or even 2010 , may be it will happen in 2008 ,who knows !!

Unfortunately in case of El-Hajj all ways leads to Israel , you see beside his honourable history you got old enemies whom in the past and the Present who are with Israel whether the Lebanese army or the Phalanges ,you got the "Fatah El-Islam" which wanted to kill Hassan Nasrallah , the bitter enemy of Israel , founded by the same Israel supporters in Lebanon indirectly to create a Muslim division playing on the Shiite -Sunni thing and you got Israel itself

El-Hajj murder has nothing to do with the Presidential election , if anyone wants to stop the election process to sabotage for a very long time even more than now ,then they have to kill Michel Soliman in order to make the Lebanese people return back to the Maze to search for the right man , Now El-Hajj simply will be replaced with another man hopefully he will be like his successor for the sake of the Lebanese security

Anyhow we do not actually what happened ,these are just assumption , may be tomorrow we will know the truth or we may never know !!

  1. Your analysis is very true. The suspect is the party that has an interest in the murder. None of the lebanese parties nor Syria has any interest in the series of murders starting with Hariri upto El Hajj.

One party has a vested strategical interest in these murders. I have no doubts that Israel is behind these murders.
